Salam Air
Anybody in the know care to comment on said airline. $14400 USD per month for an 85 block hour month makes me a tad suspicious. Is the cost of living in Oman that high?

Yes the 19000 USD at Flydubai is just a big lie...and it comes from the advert for Flydubai sent by different agencies trying to recruit pilots for them.
They pretend that you make an average of 19000 usd a month but they put into this the school allowances for 3 kids and even the end of service benefits which is not what you expect.
I have never seen an advert before where a company includes all the benefits in the average monthly salary value!!!
I have challenged one agency about this salary and asked for details and guess what ? NO ANSWER...

It would be great if anyone here who is flying for Salam Air could share some information on :
1. Roster and leave options.
2. Salary and allowances (for captain).

On my experience so far is the lowest wage in the gulf region so far but less stress working with Salam air , that’s what random pilots comes from the different gulf airlines says . The country is best place in the region such a great ppl here .
Mostly u will fly 70 to 85 hrs per month and u have 40 days leaves a year , salaries depends on ur hours but the lowest , let u live good here .

I heard from a friend of a friend memory items limitations systems and lots PBN RNAV RNP questions plus ATPL questions.but I didn’t get specifics. Anything someone could share would be highly appreciated. I did hear the person doing the interview was a ex Arabia driver so studying the latestpilot jobs prep might be helpful .if anyone could share thanks in advanced
