CM left? leaving?

I read on several posts that CM is leaving.
on others that he left already....
anything more than assumptions?

Regards

Kippa

If you see a Company publication stating he's left....he's left. Until then, assume he's still here. Easy.

I wonder if surgeons, doctors, dentists and engineers ask the same pointless questions that so many pilots seem to?

We do our profession no favours at times. Seriously!

C M had to travel to Germany for a family issue, very personal and very sad.

He is still very much at Emirates. The next person of high rank to be leaving will most likely be Sir Tim, although this is not officially announced just yet.

C M is very much a man of principle it appears and seems to be able to detect where the rot is most embedded in the company. With a management to pilot communication statistic of well below 10%, he clearly sees that it's not the pilots who need changing/briefing here. C M is very open to communication and is willing to take appointments to discuss any important issues you might have been pondering.

As usual, I think we can disregard the rantings of HTC, he must by pining for the office again! It is a rumor forum after all and I thought it was a valid post as I was wondering the same.

CM is still on the 4th floor and will see pilots if you make an appointment and he does answer emails within a day, that from personal experience. From my observations he is a well spoken and respectful individual.

Harry, the war ended over 71 years ago...get over it!

Too right THRCLB. He is a bean counter. Repeat after me...all bean counters are bad. He is not going to improve the pilot job here. He acts towards bigger bottom line only.

Ask any person at Sabena or Aer Lingus about CM and see if they have any good memories of him and pilots T&Cs...

Of course he needs to improve the bottom line.
But that doesn't necessarily have to be at the detriment of the staff.

Why not go and see him? Nothing to lose. He won't issue a warning letter! Press 4 in the Northern lift.
I wasn't the first and won't be the last.

If recent fifth freedom routes and pod of whales are any indication either CM is gone (or) mafia have been given second chance to prove themselves. Obviously they are not capable of proving themselves. Also...

Jumpinggoat449,

The difference between us and Sabina and AL is that we have nothing left to give. They never did 100 hour months and had proper contracts that he could reduce whilst making them work more.

He might be able to reduce our package but that might bite him on the backside. He sure as hell cant make you work harder.

You had to say that last bit out loud didn't you. Every time we think it can't get worse, or they can't work us harder, they somehow pull another rabbit out of the hat.

I think CMs recommendations don't happen until Apr 1. That being the new financial year. So a lot of people that have had to reapply for their jobs now, are expected to do so again in any new restructuring.

Just a thought. If Timmy goes as well then there might be 2 new positions that could be filled by 1 (CM?) and both airlines work independently but without stepping on the others toes and stealing revenue?

It's coincidental that the fat is being trimmed from both companies at a time that both expat heads are heading out (most likely).

Hahaha, you're probably right Don. These muppets never cease to amaze me when it comes to innovative ways of shafting us. I shouldn't try and test them.

Rumours currently going around at EK :

1- CM resigned
2- One of CM's recommendation was to reduce the number of habibis or increase their productivity.
3- CM fired two habibis at the HQ
4- CM got an offer from EY for JH's position.
5- many of CM's recommendations got shot down by management.
6- CM was hired to replace STC but management doesn't seem quite impressed.

Rumours I hear normally are something about where the best happy hour is. Bit weird to have an interest about a bean counter.
