"Emirates have released a couple behind the scenes of their new Jen is Back commercial. Interestingly it was all shot on a real A380, not a set, and in one of the BTS you can actually see the aircraft registration, so I did a bit of research:

Aircraft used: A6-EOW (delivered March this year, so pretty new)
The number plates, comments by crew and vehicles in the BTS all are American or indicate they are in the US (one crew member references wanting to get on an 18-hour flight to DXB).

According to Flightradar24 the aircraft hasn't been to LAX since May, and would you look at that, it was there on the ground for 5 days! It landed at LAX as EK2697 on 23 May at 10pm and flew back to DXB as EK2698 at 7:30am on the 28th. "

Videos in the link above.

Interesting post DCS99.

Five days on the ground in LAX .... must've been a cost neutral deal. Use her as a film set instead of parking up in HAM or similar.

I call things as I see them. I think this is a very good and well executed marketing campaign (OK, I admit no expertise in the field...) Promoting economy class (going to be well needed....)

No expertise -> right you are. Because it's really not what needs to be promoted!

Boss to secretary:
Dear, would you be so kind and check the bookings for my flight to XXX
Secretary:
Already done and booked, dear Ph ... ahh Boss.
Boss:
But Economy??
Secretary:
Sure. It's nicely overbooked there and Business and First are wide open, as usual.
Boss:
So, why book in Economy then?
Secretary:
Well, Dear, with all your miles and fidelity cards, you'll be instantly propelled up front, so why pay for it??
Boss:
I looove fidelity, don't I my Dear ....

May be in alternate reality.

1) Economy kid will never be allowed in F
2) Seat swap will never be allowed
3) Leaving juice glass on stairs is a risk to flight safety.

Now EK has to hire US3 granny FAs with rolling pins to guard premium cabins from pesky economy kids.

@glofish
As per new op-up rules, Skyward miles and status will not get a free upgrade. Highest paid pax from low class will get the upgrade. Boss is in for a surprise.

Seat swap allowed... only once.
Not allowed to sit on the stairs, with or without juice. Period.
