EK freighter trips.....no bid info

So no bidding info for the freighter trips.......it was meant to be up by now.......feeling disillusioned yet again....

It's like the swap freeze period, now we have to accept that it starts on the 7th every month as opposed to the 14th like it used to be. Might just be a "temporary" measure to help them thru hard times, only the great communication channels will solve this dilema...

Sometime in the last few hours they've moved the pre-assignments cut off time to 1700 this afternoon with bidding closing tomorrow at 0500. The fellas on LAX and JFK and maybe other flights this afternoon won't see their pre-assignments before bidding closes.

On the other hand all the pre-assignments I've had in the last year or so had changed by the time the roster came out anyway. This 'benefit' is just another example of the company appearing to do something without really doing it.

This new bidding system has no benefits for us so far .......100% roster satisfaction hahaha right

I would hazard a guess that the reason why the freighter flights were so late being fed into the bidding system, was due to the fact the company still didn't know how many freighter flights they could operate with the manpower available.
