Sending Money Abroad

Though Id just refresh this issue as the last post I found in the search was from 2013.

I use to think that cash was king, but these days no one wants cash ( thanks to the drug smugglers, ) so we are forced to use an exchange house to transfer money.

Ive set up an account with GCEN https://gcen.co.uk , have not used them as yet but would appreciate any feedback.

Reading previous post it seems that al Rostamani Exchange maybe the best local option

Home

Since none of us seem to be getting any more dinero's , seems we better hang on to what we have..

cheers

I've used CGEN a lot and always found them very efficient. No transfer fees.
Whilst the rates you get are not quite as good as some exchange places, you can transfer money from the comfort of your own office and you're not carrying cash around the street.
Always better than the banks rate I've found.
Having said that I'm always open to suggestions of more efficient online transfer places tho if anyone has any.

Devil GCEN

Had a bad experience with GCEN. Delayed and "lost" transfers. Went to Rostamani and they were good but when they changed their clearing bank and the fes went up, I went searching for better deals. I found Orient Exchange had the best rates with efficient overnight transfer. Their board rates were better than Rostamani 'special' rates!!

Rostamani consistently better rates than GCEN, but not as convenient to the web. Worth the trip if transferring a chunk of money though.

Where is Orient Exchange? Are they in NOE as well?
