Middle bid - 12 days off, 2 rest days, 82 hrs credit, 34 hrs stick. Days off include one block of 4 and another block of 5 off in a row. Gotta love deadheading and freighter flying.

So many days off

Have 30 days off; Oh, just remembered that I left EK in January!

No more waste of time bidding to get little of what you ask for, do what you want when you want, and I have management that cares (aka the Mrs).

No more sub-continent in the night and no more fools to answer to - nirvana!

My usual 20 days off in a row after working for 6 weeks.....

But I work in the far east. Would love to work at Emirates if only I could get the same.

First class ticket home.

Perhaps EK needs two options for pilots. The second being a lower payscale for a commuting pilot.

When I post on here now, i get hate mail.

Permanent days off, and enjoying every day. Tommorows roster, wake up at 8, takes dogs to beach at 10, go home by 12, think about what to do next.

Like McDodalds....I'm loving it.

Just a matter of interest, and no hate mail here, if life is so good and rewarding why are you still posting on this site. Surely staring at the sunset from the beach surrounded by dogs should be enough. Sounds good enough to me. I would cut my ek ties completely.

It's called 'therapy', Shake, this place needs to be purged from the system. He'll move along eventually. In the meantime it's good to hear from someone who's out and only looking back to let the rest know things are better elsewhere.
