Upheaval in the (EK) Bouncy Castle?

Hearing rumours about major upheaval in the bouncy castle? Jobs dis-established etc. Sackings, redundancies?

Any truth?

Fallout from the staff survey perhaps?

Rumour has it that two VPs marched out of the building. Looks like our beloved leaders commissioned the survey to use to get into some top 50 companies to work for thing. Guess the results weren't what they were expecting. Good to see the boys (and girls) in the Puzzle Palace have their fingers on the pulse.......

Interesting times. Trouble is when a VP or SVP leaves the new one is usually worse!

Universal law of nature. Applies to all businesses above a certain size.

Hopefully one of the VP's doing the marching was AAR.....the ex-engineer turned pilot hater.

He has done nothing but put in arbitrary stupid rules to piss the pilots off because he is jealous of the way our schedules used to be.

Do you think it is the responsible person that got fired.... or the responsible person that fired someone else!
Do you think the VP's also dance with joy when a pilot is sacked???
Grow up and grow a pair

The management might not jump up and down when a pilot is fired but they sure do it enough where they are probably numb to the concept.
Just to show everyone how much they hate pilots they take away or don't even give us Zero Cost Items. Why? A little good will goes a long way especially with this pilot group. The pilots always bend over backwards for the airline.

All three from HR.

Its probably blogs like this Truth about Emirates Airline Management | Truth is the daughter of time that lead to the employee survey about how employees feel about working for EK and that in turn probably resulted in a change in a few of the senior management positions.

Pilots for the whole part do not tend to blog, or complete voluntary company surveys about satisfaction, so don't be too disappointed when the status quo remains status.

For sure. Passive attitude towards life always causes nothing to get better.

CRUSADER

You are living in days gone by.
EK doesnt fire pilot very often any more. Actually they keep guys for a very long time before letting them go these days.
Just because they done love you doesnt mean they hate you. They are as indifferent to me as I am to them. Its just a business and we are all here for the same reasons. From baggage handler to TC. Our baseline motive is the same. To make enough money to care for our families.
