SVP of finance

A Brit I suppose. Sorry but the vast majority of those shafting us on a regular basis are our own kind, which rubs salt in the wounds.

Interesting how everyone else in the company has to wait for their pay reviews while they tidy up the shafting of the pilots.

The finance boys and girls in any company will always view pilots as over paid prima donnas. That will never change.

7 have left in the past 20 days alone and with the apparent poor response to the recruitment roadshows, I suspect that our SVP Finance will have to face reality rather soon!

Agreed Emma. Heard there was an overwhelmingly negative response to the road shows. The contract "adjustments". Forced moves to Maydan etc. etc. are coming home to roost. The pay review announcement that they already know about will come after the school year ends and after the runway reopens. It will make it more difficult for those with kids to leave. But I do feel many of us have had enough. Let's be optimistic. Who knows.

Its out. Well worth the wait. The increment, and AED7 per hour on flying pay. Housing up Aed1000 per month and schooling up.
Must have taken ages to write the email. Sorry to those who joined and are on the top pay scale..once again you get nothing.
Flying pay increase doesn't start till 1st July.

What a joke.

That is beyond poor. A real terms pay cut.

Is the extra mile a circular track?

No, no, that can't be true... Bananas x2 told us it'd be
a total of 8 per cen on basic with a substantially higher increase in housing, education and meals allowances. Hourly flying rate to also increase by circa 8 per cent.
Maybe we'll all CLEAN UP in the layover allowances, that must be it.

Hold on fellas, our shi! is coming in soon! Just a little longer, the runway works are nearly over.

The pay scale from 2011 is up on the emirates forum below. Please don't publish them on a public one!!!! They are within 0.5% of current pay.

Don't get emotional with respect to this. Your health is not worth it. You know what they are like. Just take the extra flying pay, and enjoy the bottle corona you will be able to afford with it.

Why go an extra mile when you can go 200?

Not even our paltry 0.5% hey? That'll teach us to be such ungrateful prats last year!

Maybe the caa told them where to shove their 1000hrs and now they are taking out their rage on the thieving, lazy pilots.

But still we'll have guys doing SE taxi, idle reverse, and the many other areas a pro can help save money. And rightly so, hats off to those true believers amongst us.

Very disappointed......was looking for at least a 3% hike in the telephone allowance too!
At least the entertainment value on here should soften the blow!
