Emirates Group Careers NEW Website
Hi everyone,
I just noticed that the Emirates Careers website was change, so I went in to check on my application (Job Submission) status and there seems to be nothing there...has anyone had the same problem!?
Should I re-apply again? Will I be placed at the bottom of the Shorlisted pool if I do so? I had been shortlisted since July 2013 ...
so many questions...

Same deal guys, been SHORTLISTED for a while now (Boeing), did an update on Jan 6, logged into the new website today & it now says:
"Application Under Review – Updated: 06-Jan-14"
Wouldn't worry too much, unless you are Airbus nothing will be happening for months anyway..
Fingers crossed for more Boeing soon

One question, did you ever "loose" your application details after the website update, if so, did you fill out the application again, resubmit and now your are "Under Review"?

Similar issue. Status changed from SHORTLISTED into application under review. Let's stay calm & let them to resolve the problem.
Data migration was on Saturday. Hopefully,, few working days and issue will be resolved.

I didn't lose any data when I did my last update under the old system. As you can see I updated on 6th of Jan & didn't log in again until yesterday the 13th.
I have lost all of the flying hours & a little more information since the change over, but am not touching or re entering anything until they advise me to do so.
Like I said though I'm not really that concerned, will give it a few weeks to see if they fix the problem first.
I agree with the just stay calm statement above, sitting on your hands procrastinating can sometimes solve the problem as eventually it just goes away of its own accord

Same here, same problem...when I logged in it was hinting that I re-apply from scratch.
What I can't see is an option or way to review previously entered data, in fact, where as it gave the status of one's application before, now there is nothing and the only option seems to be to re-apply and that would be from scratch.
Anyone contacted their recruitment dept to ask if one needs to re-apply again or if they intend to resolve this issue.
If they were going to resolve this I expect they might have emailed to say not to worry and not to re-apply.

My application has seemed to have disappeared as well, thinking about sending an email to EK to ask what is the best course of action now, any other people found a solution as yet?

Guys I had the same problem, so I sent a new application and after a couple of days the old application appeared and changed from "Shorlisted" to "Under Review", now I have two application...the new one as "Application Received" and the old as "Application Under Review"...so my suggestion is to wait, give them time to re-organize the data base and if nothing happens in a reasonable time...send a new application!

I was shortlisted and now application under review. I'm a Boeing pilot and not expecting much as I know they seem to be concentrating on airbus recruitment from the LHR roadshow back in January (just before the website changed).
I emailed them a few weeks ago and heard nothing. If migration was Saturday i'll give it another week before emailing them again.
It would be interested to hear if Airbus pilots are being selected.

I have the same thing - unable to edit my flight hours or anything. I've been shortlisted for a bit more than 2 years now.
I sent PSP an email few weeks ago asking why I'm unable to edit my flt hours but no response whatsoever. I think I'll just sit and wait and do nothing - as I have done so far.

Hi guys,
Recently applied, got a "we have placed your application in our Shortlist pool" email but submission status went from "application received" to "completed".
Is that a normal thing or a bug of some kind? (sorry I'm quite new with EK career stuff).

Are you guys completley brain dead? Can't you you deduce from the myriad of postings re life in Dubai, that it is a momumental decision to relocate there. It is imperative that y'all do some serious research before u pack up and take your loved ones to such a place.
