Yep, I was expecting the update call while the status was "under review". No call, back to "selected on hold".

No idea what "under review" meant.

We've always been able to update our profiles while they have been "Fc selected on hold."

My application was only 'frozen' for a week or two before they announced the January jobs. Before that I could update. They sent me an email in the summer advising that they were changing the status to "fc selected on hold" and that this would allow us to update.

Anyway, it's not a big deal really. We just have to be patient and keep our fingers crossed!

I received the same email and was advised that with the "selected on hold" status I'll be able to update the application. Actually they kindly asked to update it as they wanted to know was going on with us.
As I said before, I don't think that the change of our status to "under review" meant to allow us to update. Must be something else, what? No f idea!

As always, good luck guys

Archer,

It appears to have been Boeing rated guys (wide or narrow) this last round of calls, and they worked in order through those who had interviewed first.

I hope next time for people, especially like my friend Minwas who interviewed same week as me , they are not so selective on the ratings and start taking the guys and girls who interviewed in order of date only.

Word is that next financial years F/O requirements are still around the 400 mark

Just hope they extend the 12 months for you guys who interviewed in Feb & March!! Got to make more sense to extend by 6 months rather than logistics of trying to fit in to an already busy recruitment schedule?

Good luck.

I don't think we'll hear anything until next week. I believe they've been on holiday for at least part of this week.

According to the 12 months validity...

Who said that it means you start date have to be max 12 months?

I think that the validity is until you sign a contract, so 3 months (minimum) before starting! (so for feb guys it is ok until feb for a start in may latest)

Am I wrong?

Yes you are wrong.

They said that the starting date must be latest in 12 months. So feb -3 would mean course offer in oct.

Is there anybody selected in feb still waiting? If yes, any information from ek concerning what type of re-assessment to be done? I tried to ask two weeks ago at least but no answer from hr...

Hopefully they will allow for an extension on time in the pool; maybe 18 months instead? I think we should be hearing from them soon. Otherwise all the Feb, March and early April guys that didn't receive a start date yet are in trouble.

I truly hope that is not the case, I finished up early April and was hoping I had until at least Jan and if not all the way till March as my notice is only two weeks. Good luck to any of you that finished up early Feb and I hope they extend the 1yr requirement, really doesn't make much sense to let go of someone they thought was suitable just to reevaluate or interviewer them again. Please advise of any emails that you may receive in regards to the selection and reevaluation process. Thanks!
