Why is the drink the Cosmoplitains on US services on EK only?.

I do not know if this should be posted here or SLF (MODS PLEASE MOVE IF YOU THINK SO) but I was asked by my wife who recently flew with EK why the drink the Cosmopolitain is only available on US bound EK fights. I had no idea, and fly with EK quite a bit, but will not be with you again for 6 weeks or so, therefore I thought I would ask question here. Over to you in anticipation.

Nope, simply because they load cranberry juice only on US bound flights

The only routes we have Cranberry Juice on are the US routes... So can only make them on those routes!

I assumed EK had Cosmopolitans on U.S. flights due to its popularity from Sex and the City, a show based in NYC. But what do I know.

EK fly to around 175 destinations, each wih it's own specialties and favourite drinks and dishes.

They try and cater to the tastes of the passengers on that sector. It would be impossible to have everything everybody likes on every flight.
