EY 'Worlds Best Airline' lowest paid pilots.

With Qatar and Emirates new raise, Etihad are now the lowest paid pilots in the region. Even the low cost Air Arabia are paid more. And they wonder why we can't attract any qualified applicants.

Ironbutt, things quiet in Bahrain? My point is as stated, they wonder why they can't attract qualified pilots. And I'd gladly compare one of our 320 pilots to Air Arabia. I bet ours work just as hard.

Not many airlines in this part of the world can attract "qualified applicants."

Let's see... who would leave an established US or European airline to come fly in the Middle East or Asia? I'm asking this because of the type rating and time in type requirement.

Emirates and Qatar do not require being type rated with time on type for new hires... Etihad does.

Remove the type rating and time in type requirement, and you'll alleviate the problem somewhat...

Who?

all the unemployed and soon to be unemployed experienced ones

and also many who want to be able to save some money by working as hard as they are working in their european or american low costs, where they hardly save any.

Not even close...

There is an airline in SE Asia whose "A" scale pilots smoke that in pay. Jeez, even their "B" scale pilot blow that one away...

You can add Dragonair skipper to the list of " higher paid pilots than nas " and that's for an average of 65hrs a month
