Yesterday was the latest scheduled court date for Prestige Jet to pay the employees who have won judgments against the company. Has anybody heard whether such has taken place, or did the court once again entertain another request for delay of payment?

Prestige doesn't argue the judgments (because they already lost the cases) but continually requests delays in complying with the court orders, and the court just rubber-stamps the requests. I won my judgment a year and a half ago and am still waiting to be paid, despite several "execution orders" issued by the court.

Freddie, have you heard anything?

Cheers.

from my post of the 12th jan

some one paid up !
During a visit to the MOL in Abu Dhabi yesterday, a spy tells me that 'someone' from pj's ownership visited recently and paid off many of the outstanding judgements. So if you have an outstanding judgement, check with the court, you may get a pleasant surprise.

I have a similar situation, although not with PJ. Check with the executions department on the 10th floor in the min.

info

Fred, the info posted was as I was given by a court official. So it was correct, unless of course you asked the court official.

Perhaps he had the wrong info ? I am simply trying to assist.

You might both be correct. Prestige Jet did put some money, but it is a small fraction of what they owe. A number of people with judgments received checks to their name, all in different amounts. Some people received a higher percentage of their judgment than others. Nobody seems to know who decided which judgment holder received how much, or why.

As a result, some people do have checks waiting for them but they are at a low percentage of the amount owed. The lawyers will be going to the court to ask the court to compel Prestige Jet to pay up as ordered and promised numerous times.stop deciding unilaterally which person gets what percentage of their judgment, and instead Prestige Jet should pay up as ordered and promised numerous times.

Dues Are Only A Small Part Of The Story

While I pray and hope that dues are paid to those hard working people who were conned and deceived by PJ management, I also remind all not to forget the rest of PJ story. Previous and on going corrupt practices in areas other than employment and HR should never be ovelooked or neglected. Flight safety and international aviation law violations, plus illegal practices such as smuggling and laundering money and other substances are but a few examples of what PJ is known and proved to commit. Such should continue to be made known to people, and authorities until they are brought to a permanent end.

Hello Tayar

Dear Tayar,

I have had the privilege of flying the first 737 for Prestige Jet, and for training some Captains. The 737 in question is in for refurbishment and an interior/avionics upgrade in the UK, and the company plans to offer other large aircraft to their fleet. The good folks at Prestige Jet are doing an important service to the government and people of the UAE and her Allies in the world, as well as operating as a UAE/GCAA/FAA Part 91 Operation for the Owner.

I have always found the aircraft to be in good repair, maintenance was promptly attended to, and the pilots and cabin crew at the top of their profession. The 737 retains an "N" registration in part because of the amicable relation between the UAE and the USA, the fact that 737s are in plentiful supply in the USA, and it makes it easy to attract American aviators who bring with them thousands of hours of experience operating high-density operations in severe weather all the time.

I hope that you enjoy your career with Prestige Jets, and that God keeps you in His Safety.

Fly Safe!

American Aviators

Heavy D,
No doubt American aviators brought experience and added value to region and the rest of the world. But I kindly ask you to read the following post made by Tayar (Faris Deeb). His words of gratitude to the American pilots speak for themselves. This is one of many posts made by Deeb under different nicknames such as TAYAR, dubai981, etc.

Screw all expat pilots who speaks rubish about prestige jet. Everyone is just jeleos of this company how it is betterthan any other comany in midle east.

Prestige jet was loosing money because american pilots were taking money from company from management. This is know to the DGCA and everyone in management. Expat pilots are abusive and think they is better than arab pilots. They just think can do whatever they want with the company and get away with everything like cry baby. why you come to prestige jet in first place? WHY?

When you was getting your pay you did not cry but then you cry like little american baby, just like president bush. Everyoneis just a big crybaby. now you paying for your crying, crybabys.
Undoubtedly, there is a contradiction between the quoted post and what you are implying as to the healthy work environment at PJ.

PJ leopard

Dear All,
A leopard cannot change his spots. Also confirmation from many ex personell they have never paid termnating payment. The statement that the 737 is in London for referbish is not correct. PJ lost the contract because of non-payment and was collected by Wells Fargo Bank. Check the web as this will verify plane collected not under refurbish.

What I Found

Strange why somebody would want to bring this discussion from Page 3 or 4, where it was sleeping, back to Page 1. But, since it has popped back onto the radar screen, I decided to take Freddie's advice and look on the Internet. I found these current indicators of the status of this aircraft:

The original statement from PPRuNe thread, 27 January 2012:
it is reported that said B737 was impounded and repossessed at Al Bateen yesterday, and flown to Bournemouth last night.
Jan 27, 2012 http://www.pprune.org/middle-east/47...-tel-aviv.html

from radar tracking archives, showing last activity 26 January:
N647SR
Boeing, B737-505 (B735)
cn: 24648 ln: 2213
first contacted 2011/10/03 22:08
latest contact 2012/01/26 00:13
N647SR - Boeing B737-505 [B735] c/n: 24648 ln: 2213

from worldwide aircraft database under "currently no operator" category with PJR listed as "former airline":
currently no operator

C/N MSN last update model registration remarks former airline

2213 24648 NEW B737-505 N647SR Stored at Bournemouth (BOH) Prestige Jet Rental
CH-Aviation - Airline News, Fleet Lists & More

from Bournemouth movement report 26 January (note no operator listed while movement both before and after have airlines listed):
SBS Reports January 2012
26th Jan
01:58 AWC13R G-ZAPW Boeing 737-3L9 24219 Titan Airways
02:27 GNJ37 N647SR Boeing 737-505 24648 Wells Fargo Bank Northwest Na Trustee
03:05 NPT022P G-MANH British Aerospace ATP 2017 Atlantic Airlines
Bournemouth Airport Spotters - SBS Reports January 2012

As for other statements made above:

I also saw Faris holding court at the show at Al Bateen. He was telling people that he is still in the Prestige Holding Company as its CEO and that he is still in control of Prestige Jet, which is under this holding company, despite what you might hear from the current alleged manager.

And, despite the comments above about money being paid on judgments, several former employees who have valid judgments against the company - for more than one year - have yet to receive a single Dirham, so I question the statements being made by somebody at Ministry of Labour.

The local plumber

Dear Captcal,
por favor sent your plumber to me, if he was not paid after work, he can tell other plumbers not to go to the building. we are not outside the company, we are from inside the company and they not pay for many months. then we leave and still no payment. my experiences say what happening in pj now is the same as before.

Looking for information about Prestige and Global Express N5UU.

Please send me a private message if you have any direct information about the ownership and operation of N5UU by Prestige. Thanks.

Mi Amigos,
again PJ talks court to make it so they not pay. They operate 757 now under N number. one fuel for one flight covers all owed to all employees.

I looked at their website and looks a bit out of date... Mr Dolan still listed as Dir Ops.... true or false?

Looking for the least corrupt ME aviaiton groups for expansion talks in the flight /ground handling/biz jet charter markets to connect with SE Asia...

Response to VNAv8r

Dear VNAv8r,

Judging by your question, I am guessing that you have not read the above thread before placing your posting. Please read the above thread, perhaps the last few pages, at least, or any number of pages chosen at random, and take your own conclusion.

I can tell you that a number of employees and former employees have not been paid by Prestige Jet; some have obtained judgments from the Court of Abu Dhabi ordering Prestige Jet to pay them and the company still refuses to pay. The next hearing at the Court of Abu Dhabi for Prestige Jet to pay or to justify why it refuses to pay is scheduled for 27 June.

Captain Dolan is a good man who was our Director of Operations from the beginning. He was dismissed, for no known reasons, I believe approximately two years ago - yet his name remains on the web site. He has requested many times that Prestige Jet remove his good name from its web site. This has caused him damages when attempting to apply to other positions.

Capt. Dolan's liens against the company and the owner can be viewed at:

Aviation Deadbeat Claim Against Prestige Jet, UAE - 5/14/2011 - Aviation Industry Claims, Liens, & Debt
Aviation Deadbeat Claim Against Hamed Ben A. Al Hamed, United Arab Emirates - 5/12/2011 - Aviation Industry Claims, Liens, & Debt

In researching the above liens at the Aero Liens List (Aero Liens List - Aviation Industry Claims, Liens, & Debt), I have noted two new liens against Prestige Jet from a company in Turkey, on Page 1:

Aviation Deadbeat Claim Against Prestige Jet Rentall LLC, United Arab Emirates - 5/14/2012 - Aviation Industry Claims, Liens, & Debt
Aviation Deadbeat Claim Against Hamed Ben A. Al Hamed, United Arab Emirates - 5/8/2012 - Aviation Industry Claims, Liens, & Debt

I hope that this assists your consideration.
