Well since you said please I will...but you do make it very difficult.
I would however suggest you refrain from calling someone a liar when you may not have all the facts.
Re the profit share...I will take all the money which they care to give . I am not living in the middle east for the weather !!! We will have to wait and see.

Bimonek,

True, more recently than me, for I practice celibacy.

I do think the US is a civilized place, very much so; as for the UK, well, they are working on it and getting closer every day...

And yes, you are a pompous arse and quite pedantic too; however, you still manage to provide wonderful entertainment for us here at this forum, again, kepp it up man, you do a wonderful job!

Thank you.

I take insults as compliments when they come from ignorant people!

Believe Brother

You must be hanging about with the 'bad' boys then if a 'significant' number of your colleagues have had formal warnings. On a serious note, what kind of misdemeanours were they to warrant such action? Having been here only two years, i've only met one pilot who was/is on a warning but he deserved it for what he did!
I was, however, flying with a cabin Crew member recently who herself was on a disciplinary and had lost pay/profit share for fighting. It turned out she was defending herself from a psycho room mate, fuelled by booze, who had launched into her. Even though there was a witness to all this, the Company still 'charged' her for behaviour unbecoming while on Company property. So, yes, if that's how they treat the Pilots as well in cases like this, I don't dispute what you're saying for one minute.Very sad really and as you say, not very mature!

Just hope my rose tinted specs don't break for another 15 years or so....

Don

Put me down on the ballot for 3 weeks and 17% !!!( it's these specs that do it!)

Regards to all..........including you letterman

In addition to my original questions, would anyone be willing to give me the definitive answer to the fleet numbers in EK?

I have researched as much as possible, but sometimes people inside the company will have the correct, current numbers.

My research to date has revealed :- (as of 29/3/05)

Aircraft

A310-300 Current 1, On order 0.
A310-300F Current 0, On order 3.

A330-200 Current 29, On order 0.

A340-300 Current 8, On order 0.
A340-500 Current 6, On order 4.
A340-600 Current 0, On order 20.

B777-200 Current 3, On order 0.
B777-200ER Current 6, On order 0.
B777-300 Current 12, On order 2.
B777-300ER Current 1, On order 29.

A380-800 Current 0, On order 43.
A380-880F Current 0, On order 2.

Please post, or feel free to PM me with the current numbers. It would be much appreciated. Thankyou.

BYMONEK, I had a few words with our friend from Monarch who is with us here in Dubai aswell, and he has confirmed what we all have been thinking about you.... At best you are definetely smoking something dangerous..., those of you who want to know who this **** is, pm me and I will let you know.
As for the great company only punishing those who deserve it, how about the Ossie Captain who stood up during the pilot meeting last year and said that he was asked to delay the flight out of the UK for Tim's daughter and friends, and was told to give them the jump seat, and then because he had the balls to actualy comment on upper management's disrespect for company rules and regulations was given a warning and took his profit share away for two years? Think that is fair? Think that would stand in any other country around the world, not including the Subcontinent and africa? Please mate give us a brake. OK Dubai is not as bad as every one says, but it is not the great place it is made out to be either. Emirates is OK, but again nothing like it is made out to be.
Anyway BYMONEK do not worry, I guess I will not let others know your identity as we will all lose your great posts that make us at best laugh.......

Ring, they can't return back to the original credit system because to do that somebody in management would have to admit they were wrong. As we know, nobody in Emirates management is ever wrong about anything!

And they would do that because? Maybe because that under the new system the amount of overtime being paid has exceeded their forecasts and returning to the old system would save money. Cynical? Moi?

Sorry to interrupt guys, but anyone up to speed with current fleet numbers and orders?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi folks,

I have an upoming interview date with Emirates. Is there anybody how can send me (and share) any details about the interview process? Is it enough to be prepared like for the Cathay Pacific Interview? I appreciate any serious answers.

Thanks a lot !

Emirates Interview update

Hi there, having read a lot of posts about the emirates interview in dubai, is there any update on what to expect? (F/O interview)

What are the people like, what tech questions, sim ride, psychological tests.

Maybe I left out some good posts or someone is willing to share his/her experience. Your help is appreciated!

Many thanks!
