Your questions should be.. Can I actually sustain flying back of the clock, long haul for a 100 hours a month, on minimum days off, and will I ever see my family, regardless of where they live?

1) You don’t seriously want to be flying that in EK. The back of the clock flying and time away from the family will either wreck your marriage, kill you or both. Dubai is VERY expensive, think London, New York levels, nothing like Panama, so your salary maybe higher but you will spend it especially with a family.

2) 9-12

3) Company accommodation, not nessessarly Median but company (all the same ultimately) unless you decide to buy. That is risky in the short term for sure, long term who knows.

With no disrespect intended, (especially since you are obviously using English as a second language), you will need to improve it to get into EK if you do choose to come this way.

Anyone else in the short list pool or have been? And if so, how long until you were invited for an assessment?

What is the latest update about the Skycargo Emirates deal?

Is that still existing? On their website there no more sign of it?

Is the type after joining EK determined like at QR when it comes to Boeing vs. Airbus?

So if a 737 FO joins EK will he become a 777 FO or can they put you on the A380 as well? I remember that it was possible to apply for the specific type but right now it is only one vacancy.

Depends on what they need, but in the past Airbus guys went on the 380 and the rest 777...

You are coming to the ME. Contracts and promises and common sense mean nothing here. Get this into your head right now - it will avoid many problems for you down the line.

Common sense would say Airbus to Airbus and Boeing to Boeing. That doesn't always happen here. It can be changed anytime during your type rating, and even once checked to line. If they want you somewhere else, your going. You have no say on it.
