Good Afternoon,
Somebody can give a glimpse of how are things currently in EK? What is the level of turnover and prospects for expansion, Command courses, expansion of the fleet? 777x is due in 2021 I believe so is expansion forecasted in the near future (+6 months)?.
Applied a few weeks back but I have received a email stating there are no positions available at the moment. Any information is welcome, and also welcome any PM.
Regards.

Boeing fleet is overstaffed so recruitment is currently frozen; I think we'll see recruitment pick up again when the 777x deliveries begin. Boeing Command time was roughly 4 years but that'll likely increase significantly for new joiners. Turnover is low, as the Boeing rosters are the most manageable they've been in years - hence the recruitment/upgrade freeze.
Thank you for your reply.

Hey all
I have an interview in the sand pit coming up this April. Anyone able to provide some information on what that might contain, how I might prepare, what sim it's in etc etc. Feel free to PM!
Cheers
DISCLAIMER - I have read all the negativity around working at EK, this is a 'keep my options open' interview. I got nothing to lose.... yet.

Prepare with pilots jobs network (compass)
Fly a bit without flight directors at work (sim screening)
And BE YOURSELF (interview)
Also for the interview, think about a couple of flights you've had in the last couple of years, that stood out from the other normal ones. Good/Bad colleagues/situations etc.
They will ask you for details, when they ask you questions in the interview.
And also not to be forgotten. Eat a big breakfast each morning. There won't be much time for food or drinks during the assessment.
That all helped me. Prepared about 3-4 days in advance for the whole assessment.
Good luck
