Sorry Emma I though you were flying A320
In Vietnam you need to be qualified on A320/330/or B777 /Atr 72 As Capt and FO

Payscale

I know what you mean but not many Yanks have JAA licence so if a Yank she would not be able to work in depressing Europe or perhaps she is one of many who have dual citizenship and she also has a depressing European passport??

I heard the guy who just left EK to go on the 777 now wants to leave and come back. Any truth in this as he was really excited to go?

Apparently the salary is not too bad for poledancers....

Oh wait, you were asking about FA's... am told they pay very well but as for pilots no roster so can disrupt 'life' however should be fine if you're single/ have non-jealous bf/gf/spouse

B777 Captains for the Presidential Flight Abu Dhabi

Does anyone have first or second-hand knowledge of terms and conditions there? Of most interest would be the amount of time one is on duty - is it 24/7 for months on end or is it rotational?

Dropp - get the offer first - they are notoriously fickle in their recruitment. Then analyze the T&C's and turn them down if you not interested -

Not quite 24/7 but not far off that.

They'll keep you busy sending them all kinds of documents and then not even an answer, really weird lot.

Not wierd...just particular...think of who you would possibly be working for. I'd be picky too if I was them!

Particular ? A lot of these operators need to show a little more respect , it should be mutual . Manners are cheap.

Read the name and think about what "operator" that could be...

Hmmmm...let's see...sending documents to be reviewed.
Licence...need one to work there...does yours qualify?
Medical...need one to validate the licence! Is it a class one?
Passport...check (obvious hey?) Are you able to fly worldwide with no visa issues? Two photo's in case we actually think you may be a suitable candidate and want to meet you...(Visa entry)
I'm up to four files to send, how am I doing? Four attachments to an email...phew, that's tiring! I can't believe the bad manners shown by this operator! I should automatically be hired just because I sent a CV...can't they see my fabulous experience? It's right in front of them...
I suppose that must include 90% of the flying world as rude and/or weird as I took the liberty of researching what these operators want. Guess what? They ALL ask for the same paperwork...isn't that weird? Get used to it, especially at the VVIP level. It's a small club that requires way more than your obviously excellent flying skills to join.
BTW, the small print almost always says: Only those candidates who meet our requirements will be contacted. Says it all doesn't it?
Good luck!
LC
