Arrow First Officer Position CL605

TREND ~
Yes, I have found myself on the same list. I've been searching high & Low for any information pertaining to the prospective position; CL605. Have you been given a confirmed interview date yet? Any information that you have found in relation to this position and/or interview would be greatly appreciated.
Hope to hear from you,
Cheers,
ATR

This position has not been advertised and it seems not much is known about it, including internally with other QR pilots.

I hear the CL605 is a very nice aeroplane to fly. Brand new Pro Line 21 avionics up front with nice, wide flight deck relative to other biz jets. The aeroplane has good range and it can reach Europe from Doha in most cases. I believe QR has operated both a Global Express and a CL300.

I wonder if any Vista Jet 605 pilots will look to make the switch. And, I wonder if any promises are made regarding potential move over the airline side at some time in the future (if that is attractive to the applicant)... Do you ever see the airline pilots bidding the corporate jet fleet and vice versa? Anyone know?

Interesting

To Mainline pilots. It seems interesting these guys are being offered a 20/10 days roster, or 1/1 month on/off. 25% extra on basic for being on permanent standby during the arduous duty cycle. Housing allowance built into wage, cos they are not here all the time. Would any Captain candidates care to comment?

NoJoke ~ OK, well you started by saying "To mainline pilots." and the thread is in relation CL605 first officer, thus the confusion. I'm only interested to information regarding the CL605 program: interview info, pay, roster/schedule, ect...Forgive me, but I don't care so much as what the mainline pilots think about it. I can ask them myself about that later.
Regardless, thanks for the info you posted...from what you have written, it dosen't seem like a bad deal..no?
Have a good day,
ATR

Ruin

I will write more slowly for you - THE CL 605 IS PART OF MAINLINE ~ DO YOU UNDERSTAND ???? Thats why I addressed my point to mainline pilots, especially the A320 jocks that have no commuting contract, no increase on the basic and no hope.

Chill...

Dune Drive ~ Thanks very much...That is all very useful info

NoJoke ~ And may I write more slowly for you. I am on this thread in the attempt to educate myself of the said position. The reason for this is because I do not know much (if anything about it). So chill dude ~ How am I suppose to know that the 605's are part of mainline, without knowing much about it, or anyone telling me? No need to be an ass about it. I learn from asking questions. I do have friends currently flying at QR, but they seem to know very little about the 605's as well. I am simply inquiring here to gather information...I will ask questions...chill bro.

So the 605 drivers are currently being offered a 20 on/10 off or 1 month on/1month off schedule? When the aircraft is in town you are on 24/7 standby, do you mean while on the 20 on or 1 month on? Is the additional 25% included during this period? Do we have a monthly average $ value these guys are pulling in?

Thanks guys...
ATR

Ruin

I do fly for the Company and as I told you the 605 is part of Mainline. You then proceeding to tell me to stick to the thread suggests that It is you that needs to chill. As confirmed by the Dune Driver the information I gave you is correct.

NoJoke ~ Ok, and as I said I'm not pretending to know about the position, thus the questions...Regardless, thanks for the info. Anyways, now that we have beat that to death...

Dose anyone else know much about the 605's that they could add?...How many there are? Where are they based? Interview info, ect...? So given the schedule, do any 605 drivers commute? I've heard that QR doesn't want commuters? Any interview type info for the position? Anything helps...

And thanks again to those who have shed some light...
Cheers,
ATR
