Heard on the line 12 guys/girls starting in SEP. (8 FO's and 4 DEC's) Oct will see 6 FO's starting. Not sure if they were just hired and placed in a holding pool or actually got a start date or have begun already. Also in SEP a few cadets starting but not sure how many.
Again, line rumors so not sure what is true. It's all fluid and depends on the MAX return entirely.

9 FO and 3 from the second officer program, no direct entry Capts. These cadets have been in the waiting pool since 2017. No start dates this year unless max is back in service. Their is still loads of pilots in the holding pool waiting for 2 years now.

12 Started recently (last 10 days) with more courses to follow this year. Not sure how many courses but have it under good authority that they are employing F/O's in order to release existing senior F/O's for their Command Upgrade.

People are still leaving to go to EK or back home and folks getting upgraded currently. Yes we are overcrewed for now but with the MAX back in, say March they need to start training people accordingly. Things will start to happen quickly come December.

With 20 Max expected next year recruitment has restarted as it is being advertised for the moment in IST. The conditions seem to be good as Accommodation & Transfers are covered.

Upgrades?? Where?? Not in FZ... we had small batch of 6, nothing else. More than 60 guys sitting and waiting... no courses on January so far.

If I apply and I pass it, will they give me a FO job or will they add me in the holding pool?

Dis someone take the online exams? I have applied on friday and received the tests yesterday. Five days is the deadline. I assumed they move fast during the initial stages. As they have plenty of people in the holding pool.

Is it neccesary to practice with programs Like latest pilot jobs for the online tests? Or those psychometric tests are taken in dubai? And the online test are the regular ones

As long as the Max is grounded, expect to be in the pool. There's no expansion whatsoever until the return of the Max. FZ is just trying to anticipate the return, have the pilots ready in a pool.
