EK Airbus 330 lifestyle

Hello! Very excited to be headed to class for the Airbus 330 later this year. Please no get out while you can responses. I am sure you can find another thread to post those on. However, can anyone currently employed at Emirates shed a little light into the destinations, overnight qualities and durations, and any other relevant information about life in the 330. Thank you in advance.

I'm not on the 'bus, but destinations move from one type to the other. Most all layovers are around 24 hours. A few longer, a few shorter. I can tell you, the hotels you will stay in are not on the par with what most US carriers "hole" you up in. Much better. But, many great cities you layover in, your hotel will be by the airport, like Rome, Paris, London. IAH will probably be a 48 hour layover, not sure. The only problem I see you might have is the embarrassment of identifying yourself as an Airbus pilot...........only kidding girls. And you just might be honored to fly with mensaboy, he loves all things American.

The month you are on reserve, you can work your but off or not. Just like anywhere else. Any other relevant questions, I would be happy to answer, just send a PM.

What are the good layovers on the 777????

Even more important - are the crew as lame on nightstops as they are a Gulf Air? (last FA exodus left almost no one!!!!) Dinner alone (without even your flight deck partner) is killing me at GF - or is it my personality

Yes crew dead on layovers most of the time
SEY is the worst hotel in the system
Sad state of affairs if a 2 day TUN is a good layover( not bad) at best
330 only pilots have some nice trips but also more room in there roster for midnight india stuff, 777 have there share of those as well
330 has got some morning EU/UK type flts back but they always change, even some of those go 330/340
