You will only be place day in the job title you have applied for. Change of fleet is very rare. For ex if you have applied a rated Boeing FO will be placed on the new 777/787 according to the company's convenience.

Frustrating

I applied for the NTR FO, back in June 2016, assessment in December 2016, talent pool until may 2017 signed contracts, did all the paperwork and 2 months from joining they withdrew the offer of employment and kick me out of the process... don't know what went wrong but I'm not the only one, and believe me I did nothing wrong, Over 20 got the same email. Process is really lengthy, they won't say a word about their decision so I'm trying somewhere else good luck! Do not quit your current job until you are on that plane heading to Doha. 5.200 TT erj190

It could be for NTR only don't really know, but if so they should have honored the ones with signed offer Or put you back to the pool... I don't know, it is just not right! For those in the pool be patience, it is a mystery how they work that out, some say it depends on your overall score, (ATPL, INTERVIEW, TOTAL TIME, ETC) I don't buy it...I would say it depends on how easy it's for them to validate your info, and get you flying soon... Good luck to all!

Hi,

Does anyone know if Qatar plan accepting 737 time for DEC in the future?

Cheers.

Current Boeing DECs have 767/747/777/787 experience. 737 time just not competitive or relevant imho (for the triple 7 or 747F where the growth is) for the time being... however 737Max coming soon, so things will change then. Inspite of this have met several 737 Capts that accepted to join as T7 FOs, thus gaining seniority, learning the ropes of a global Op (+70 destinations) instead of wait on a "maybe" DEC position

That's exactly my own position. And then hope for a command of the 737s arrive.
