The second officer gig, when it works out is a great opportunity....unfortunately many have been selected and put in a pool, and used to fill any gaps as needed.
There is obviously a hierchy on whom gets called....if somebody is in the pool with 4000 hours on type they will be called before somebody with no experience which makes sense for many reasons, especially considering the length of training required for a s.o.
As already mentioned there doesn't appear to be a requirement to interview again after a year.
Only speculation on my part....I do not know anything, but as I see Al Maha airplanes parked on the ramp in Doha I would assume they are planning on starting soon and may be a chance for some of the swimmers in the pool?

Thumbs up

Hello everyone,

I recently gave the assessment. It was pretty straight forward and the guys are fair(or may be appear to be). Fingers crossed and awaiting results now.

Most likely youll get Business class returns and now a good amount of perdiem.
My advice is to arrive at the venue well rested and relaxed and give it in a professional manner. Never get casual even if someone does( recruitment team).

Atpl was easy to medium.
Interview (TMAAT) I just gave honest answers.
4 of us (total 6) went to sim, A320. two of us paired up (non rated) other 2 were rated. Normal take off, vectors ILS with FD on,auto thrust(ap off)(speed managed),v1 cut,SE FD on, Auto thrust on, SE-GA, and Visual circuit and Land.

No debrief and now awaiting Good news now

Will do a detailed write up time permitting If you guys need it.

@ kimny002 - Are you kidding?? Did I just get lucky or they made a mistake ! They gave us 750 QAR (250x3 days) as per diem !!!

cheers

To Pilot-123

They will ask you everything, Personally I ve been asked paychecks from previous employer (since 1996!) , receipts of tax declarations and also written evidence of periods of unemployment. Then they will ask you for contacts of HR persons from previous employers and many other things.
1 month of e mails with continuous requests. At the end everything was successful but very stressful.

Does anybody out there have any preference for the B777 Freighter Fleet as far as the schedule is concerned?

Just completed the PSA for Qatar. Anyone recently submitted theirs and have heard back yet? Just curious as to how long it takes to hear if you made it to the next step in the process. Thanks

Smile

Just search for Hogan Test on google.

What I learned is that you should try not to be very extremist. Try to balance your answers, I believe that this is what they are looking for.

I failed the first time, succeeded the second one.

All the best.
