Hi, quick help....
I applied for QR some years back, got "regret" and ever since then my application page is stuck. Even if I update my dynamic details on the application page which I have done a couple of times, I am never able to submit it and the status page keeps on showing "regret". How do I reapply with latest details (please don't suggest to make a new email id....any other solution please)?

Anyone knows when they hire direct second officer for low hour? Or any speculation on it? Thanks.

It seems the carriers in middle east Qatar is thenonly one that will offer direct second than Emirates etc.

Thanks for the info. Btw are the only options currently to join Qatar Second officer is by firstly being a Qatari citizen?

I've got an automated interview to do. Has anyone done one of these, and what sort of content is asked?

Hello! I have some questions about Qatar. Well, I am flying B737NG at the moment as a FO and I have an estimated time for upgrade for a captain position in about a maximum time of two years from now. So now I have the minimums for applying for Qatar. I would like to fly the triple seven, the questions I have are about after completing the pilot screening if they call me to fly the 777 or 787, can I choose any of them? What about the time for upgrating for a captain position there and the requirements? What is the salary base and top and how much per hour in USD for FO? Do they have eCrew system or something like that where I can request flights for some destinations? (the company I am right now I can bid some fligths, for example, if I ask JFK, that is gonna be a bunch of JFK`s on my schedule for the next month). Talk about the benefits on the country and for flying back home or leisure flights. Thanks.

I was asked

- Why Qatar airways?
-What will you do during RTO?
Which is your best destination?
-When was your last flight?

No, you’ll be put on any fleet they require you and this could be after you arrive and not the fleet mentioned on your offer letter.

What about the time for upgrating for a captain position there and the requirements?

Cant comment as it’s company policy. For new joiners anything below 5 years is a bonus. I would plan on 5-6 years but it changes as time goes by.

PPJN is pretty accurate

Yes we do and also a flight swap request application

Can earn good money, see the world. If you join here, you should plan to live here and accept the country. It’s not difficult. Many have been here for years and have no intention of leaving. Some love it, some hate it and some tolerate it. Those that hate it only last a couple of years and then thankfully leave.

You say you would love to fly the triple ? Really, why ? If flying the triple is more important to you than anything else, I suggest you think long and hard before coming here.

Why? The T7 not being assigned to new joiners?

Hi guys
I did the online psychometric tests 5 weeks ago.
No results received up until now. Only a confirmation that the test was completed on the day I took it. No more communication after this.... really strange and depressing.

Anyone who can clarify? Is this waiting time normal? They don't react when you fail?
I applied for Cpt A350....

I finished the application online, and the next day I received an email asking me to upload my CV, valid instrument rating, and copy of the last two pages of my logbook. I have an electronic logbook (excel spreadsheet), so i took a screenshot of the last two entries and stitched them together in photoshop, and my instrument rating is on my ATP. Is there any advice on how to get this done? I emailed them asking for guidance, no response yet. I'm in the US.

Also, I saw a Qatar Cargo 747, are they flying the 747 and hiring into it? Just curious about it, nothing serious.

Just get a copy of your last PC to satisfy the instrument currency

Evening gents,

A few questions for the knowing....

What paygrade does one start at if joining as a DEC on the 320? And how much is it?

Is the housing allowance sufficient if one wishes to rent an apartment for two people in a decent area?

Thanks!
