No, if you are Boeing rated and current you will join on Boeing and remain there for the duration of your stay in QR. If you have previous Airbus experience but are more current on Boeing, there is no harm in asking for Airbus but chances would be slim.
On the training side we don't see as many DEC now as in the past. Internal Command upgrades are around 15/month. DEFO to Command running at three years if you have the hours.

ULRs (no changes on city pairs) are still 4 pilot. East coast and Montreal are apparently 3 unless it’s a training flight (4 pilots).
Seen some of my mates (P1) rosters on 350 and 777. They are very happy with their rosters. Can’t speak for FOs.

Why would investments in Europe and China be a reason for staying away from an airline?
What did I just read? I have to go out and take a walk to process this.

I don't know in EU but in US an FO in regional is getting 115-120K$/y (bonuses etc) to fly 75h/m not 110h/m ... do your math, and you must be in company accommodation. And in addition to that you are in the Doha (not Dubai/AbuDhabi nor Bahrain) ... your family can be really miserable in the corner of the desert.

go to airline pilot central ... regionals ... and check the best one for you ... but get out of the sandpit (especially quatar) if you are only there for the money ... there are better options at home!

I still don't have the requirements to apply but was wondering if the 500 hours on 737NG requirement is a hard requirement? I am rated and qualified to fly both the Classic and NG but I only fly the Classic for now.

Keep that up for a year and include allowances and you have NETTED 100K on 50hrs a month avg. (600 for the year). With free accommodation, medical and a reasonable education allowance.

PS. AFAIK FOs at Regionals make upto $60K year 1 in the US. That is pretty much industry standard. Take out state and federal and your 401K contributions and you have $4K a month. Maybe even less (depends on the state). That’s Less than half of what an FO takes home here.
