The little man does have the power, the power to put fear into all his staff to get his own way. There are too many spy’s who has his direct number on the 9th floor, they will hang anybody just to be in his good books.
Last Oct there were 4 westerners in the recruitment department, one upset the Moroccan (he knew about recruitment but did not know about the unwritten rules) who works on flight deck recruitment, he got chopped in Dec 08, his replacement an Indian did not last long he got chopped thanks to the Moroccan within a couple of weeks (again an experienced recruiter from aviation). The second westerner got chopped in Jan 09.
Then there were two, the male one jumped a couple of months ago now back in the UK, the last one is leaving in Dec 09.
The frog Mr Useless took over from the Ausie, she stuck it out as long as she could but could take no more even he is scared of the Moroccan, so just be careful what you say and to whom, you never know who is watching and listening.

hey boys

if she doesn't like Evian, French mineral water (cannot blame), try with San Pellegrino, an Italian mineral water ....maybe it's more cool!

...any new on the up-coming interview? Thanks

Qatar Application

Hello everybody, I have a doubt about application form to Qatar. If you download this application in PDF format, it tells you that "you canīt save any changes on that application" so if you fill it you canīt save it therefore itīs impossible to send this application with all your information.
I want to know what is the way to send this application form, by mail with my information.

Thanks.

P.D. I have the old application form in Excel format, but I donīt know if Qatar will read it in this old one.

Regarding the PDF format on the application, look back to posts in this thread from 9/17-9/22 for your answers. This problem is easily overcome and I think the easiest and cheapest way I have seen is from clrblu22 on 9/22 who recommends downloading the Foxit Reader for filling in the forms. Check out foxitreader.com
Cheers.

Got the invite as well for December 14th.

I have 3000+ TT all SIC on A320 and B757/767.

I guess I will start reading all the posts here before coming up with any questions...

Thanks for all the info so far especially the info on the screening and I trust that those who are going for the interviews this month will share their experience with us as well, any updates are appreciated!

I have applied for the B777 but my invite does not mention any type, I assume that this will be confirmed in due course before attending? I am asking since I am A320 rated (not current) and B757/767 rated (current).

I also understand that the sim used will depend on availability so that the A320 can be used for example even when being considered for the B777, right? I am currently not flying the line so it would be nice to know whether to do a sim refresher on the A320 or B767, any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hello Everyone
just a quick question for those of you invited for the interviews. When you received your invite, did it specify the position you have applied for or not? Did it say CA or FO position, or was it a general invite?
Thanks

QR terminations "as per higher management"

Be aware that after you get a job you might lose it on spot if a CEO do not like you talking to his crew and in his airline . People are getting terminated every day over a CVR or over a fact tht they married ex crew or if they are reported that they drinked Evian water.
Take it all as just a transit TRTO and good if you can take a type rating and run away

terminations

Can anyone pls confirm authoritatively that pilots hv been canned for drinking Evian water , breaking a tow bar , marrying a Flight Attendant ?
Seems draconian and dictatorial , to say the least. Is the interaction between the cockpit and cabin really as bad as it is made out to be ?
I was considering QR as an option .. Hence the interest . A PM would be much appreciated.
Thanx
