so how is the estimate salary for an a330 f/o , roster, and after how many hours/years you become a captain? are they offering wide body or not?
thanks for your replys...
Im flying an average of 45 hours for the last 6 months. So, my salary is well below my colleagues of other fleets.

Quick head up for those in the pool.

QR has just switched medical insurance provider Allianz Worldwide Care with a semi-unknown qatari company called Al Koot.

Its a cost cutting measure which surely changes T&C for the worse.

I am disappointed because Allianz was working perfectly both in Doha and abroad.

Hi guys,

Ive recently applied to Qatar as a F/O on the 738 and I have received this email 7hrs later :

Thank you for applying for the position of QR7700-Type Rated First Officer Boeing | Qatar Airways | Doha.

However, we regret to inform you that you have not satisfied our pre-selection screening criteria and as such, your application cannot be taken any further.

Should you wish to apply for a different vacancy, please login as an Existing User.

I have no clue what Ive done wrong but is there anybody who has received the same email after application?

Cheers

Qatar Airways does not operate 737 type aircraft.
Are you type rated in either 787 or 777 aircraft?
If not, then this job opening does not apply to you, hence the reply you received,

Dom

All of these hours on the NG?
They give absolutely no credit for the Classic 737.

I have never flown the 737 Classic. All hours are logged on 737NG.

Non pilot here - can anyone advise a forum (here or elsewhere) where I might get advice on Qatar employment conditions for exec roles at Doha?

Im applying online for a manager role and they are asking for salary expectations (monthly in QAR). I really dont know what is reasonable, and have no contacts to ask. Google not being much help

Thanks in advance

A salary number can be hugely subjective. It's what else you get that counts.
Housing.
Utilities
Transport
Return flights to you point of recruitment- hopefully more than once a year!
These can make a moderate salary quite good.

As far as I know, SFI is same as DEC....pretty good deal as usually they get more flight or sim pay so sometimes make more.
