Education allowand

Hi, just a quick question. How soon after joining can I expect to get access to the education allowance and is it paid in arrears or advance?

Thanks

once you pay, you submit for reimbursement, and will be in your paycheck the following month.

Hello everyone,

After the on-line tests and the video interview I have received an invitation for the simulator assessment in Doha. Has the process changed ? As they don't mention anything about theoretical exam or personal interview....

The selection process is as per below:-

Day 1 Arrival to Qatar
Day 2 Simulator assessment
Day 3 Departure from Qatar

Sorry pal. The idea of logging PIC time as a first officer doing the PF work is severely out bounds in all major aviation jurisdictions for at least 15 years. What did you expect, without bringing a credible logbook and then playing clueless, pointing finger at your employer for the mess? Check your own regs, I'll bet 3 bitcoin it says logbook is the pilot's responsibility.

Claiming PIC/P1 time when PF as an FO is not a "small irregularity". It's claiming you were captain, when you weren't. If it's PICUS, then it's different and it has to be clearly noted as such and countersigned by the actual PIC.

At least in EASA land, logging flight time remains pilot's responsibility despite many people thinking they don't have to because they fly for an airline.

So it’s six months later and I’m about to rewrite by hand some of my logbook and get printed professionally my previous employers logten pro material. Question and assuming I’m an FO what do they look for as a format ie if I’m flying, and of course if I’m the captain but the FOs flying again what are they looking for. I know I was a smuck for ruining that application, but I’ve e got friends currently already out there who are also now having the same things brought up amazingly.

any help much appreciated.
Tonker,

Did you apply for a Capt position or FO?

Theoretical exam and interview

You will have your theoretical exam, group discussion and interview on the first day of the process and will only proceed for the simulator stage once you clear that. All the best!

Really strange,

I got the invitation at the end of August and states exactly the opposite, Second day with test, face to face interview and panel interview.

Housing

Can anyone currently at QR or in the know kindly advise which accommodations are currently being given to DECs 77 upon joining.

PM if you prefer.

It seems to be a bit illusive to find.

Much appreciated.

About a year ago 777 FOs waited about 3 months after the assessment, not sure about Captains.

How long is the projected upgrade time if you have the hours? Considering EK or QR and honestly not sure which is better?
