Any truth that theres been a management reshuffle?
It is entertaining to watch the dynamics of passenger vs cargo operations.

I can't believe you took a job while still being this clueless
about what it involves.
Absolute, either you are a total idiot, or you don't give two
****s about your wife and family.
Either way good luck, you are the type that usually has a very
bad time here.

Hello all,
I had posted this request a while back but it was delayed by pprune because it was my first post. If anyone has any information could you please post or send me a pm. I would appreciate it.
Rocky
Where can I look at the T& C for A-320 DEC at Qatar? I can not find the specifics anywhere within the Qatar current openings section of their website. I am looking for as much information as possible, travel benefits for pilot and family, annual leave days, medical insurance, company provided housing, salary etc.
Thanks for any information.

ATP license and IR validity
Gents,
Anybody familiar with QCAR? Just wanna ask re: requirements for joining,
ATL license and IR validity at least 6 mos?
Does this mean I have to do my Proficiency Check, just before joining? If my license is perpetual (FAA) and IR validity is 12 mos, right? And my proficiency check will expire 2 months after my joining date, can I join QR without doing my Prof check?
Thanks,
Lee

Leemankin, yes that is correct.
You have to have 6 months validity on both your pilot and medical licenses upon joining. So if you need to take your medical again do it. If you need to do your proficiency check again, do it.
Without them you will not be able to join Qatar and HR is very clear and strict about it.

Qatar require 8 months validity on the home medical on joining.
They also require 6 months on the IR on joining - a problem in the modern world of ATQP where most airlines are switching to an IR sign-off every 12 months.
You could have completed a proficiency check last week but if the IR hasn't been signed off for at least another 6 months + then it is not acceptable to Qatar.
You will need to find a suitable examiner and pay for a separate IR sign-off yourself.

I appologize if my question sound stupid....but are we talking bout Intrument Rating when we say (IR) because shouldnt a completed proficiency check cover that? which most if not all companies do that every 6 months
