CP Job
The CP job is the best job in Falcon. Its up to you how much you fly and you can allow your office life to suit your nedds. Ie taking the kiddies to/from school.
The 1900 no longer fly to Iraq , its done by wet lease An-12's.
Dubai lifestyle..its what you make of it....how much effort you put into your lifestyle will dictate how much you like it.
All the best FM.

Hey OMann, don't give the guy false hope, come on.
If you are from within! Then you should know that Falcon has never given a rating except to a few individuals in the not too distant past. I guess the CP is (still) from down-under and would for sure be able to put Aussie on right track.
Hey Aussie what is your total?
These guys don't entertain anyone without the 300 Multi + B1900 Type from a reputable Flight centre and a total of 500 hours.
Good time builder I assume.
Ciao

Plenty of F/O's at the moment. Captains is what they need for the 1900. Look at www.ppjn.com for conditions.

The good old feca
So, after all these years the yankees at feca have woken up or otherwise!
you must be kidding me they are actually painting those dry leased bug-smashers! Oh I mean Beechcrafts.
Lovely aircraft to fly.But i have heard from an ex-feca flyer that the inside condition of those planes is not appealing at all. I will let your imagination run wild.
Also heard that the Aussie boy is leaving them, just after 5months since he joined. surely he gave up and took the easy way out.

falcon express cargo airlines
they operate 5 1900's and a F27 out Dubai. Its all night a freight out of Dubai, flying to Doha, Bahrin,Kuwait and Riydh and Jeddah. You must be type rated to get a job there. Do a search on here plenty of old threads about FECA. Its a good way to get some turbine time up.Thyey are looking for Captains right now. Go to www.ppjn.com and www.climbto350.com aswell.

G'day
Falcon requirements 500-700 TT 300 Multi and a B1900 Type Rating. Those requirements are a must wiith generally no exceptions. Majority of new hires join with previous turbine or 1900 experience, although they do hire with the minimum requirements. One of their CPs said they get a bunch of phonecalls everyday about work, and some complain about the requirements. Along the lines of "How the hell are we supposed to get those requirements, 300 multi, type, blahblahblah" Flying into DXB is pretty dead stick nowaddays, and the 1900C has no autopilot. So a weak IFR pilot can become a liability under those conditions. Also due to aircraft rotations and lack of training captains, the company does not have the time or the facility to do in house ratings.
Plenty of F/Os at the moment, most guys only doing 50-60 hours a month. Ideally guys should be doing 70-80 hours, so will probably be a while until they hire any more. From what I understand, waiting periods for a job range from 6 months to a year.
What to do is send a CV, email, fax frequently when you hit the requirements or get close to keep your CV high in the pile. Its been a great job for a lot of guys who have gone on to fly big shiney jets! Good luck!
Before you ask, dont work there now, just got big ears!

Thanks for the information wj most helpful I have around 2400tt 1100 multi but zero turbine, I believe Vincent aviation do endorsements for about 17,000nzd, as a cost/benefit issue don't mind paying as long as descent pay.
My main motivation for exploring feca as an option is the belief of increased pay rates compared to NZ and AUZ flying light turbines?
I assume you have been around dubai and know all the little sprinkels that make the cake how does it stack up a option in your opinion.

Be careful spending so much coin on a course at Vincent. The course is very abreviated with only about 5 hours flying. I believe it is more designed as a basic course just to get the rating on your licence, then do the majority of training on line (providing you have a job to go to!) 17grand is a lot of money for 5 hours.
I think some of the 1900 sim courses in North America are recognised by CASA. There are sims in Toronto New York and Denver to name a few. Costs probably run the same price or less than down under, and you get a lot more for your money. For example 15-20 hours sim, 80 hours groundschool followed by an in depth tech/procedures quiz and 3 hour sim check.
Shop around first before spending so much money.
Cheers

Falcon Express
Hey Folks, looks like Falcon once again is short of F/O's, they should be taking on a few guys in the next two to three months, so guess if you'll have the rating and meet the minimums, now is the time!
