EASA Initial Class 1 - with Allergy
Hey guys
I know I’m over thinking it but I would like anyone’s advice, feedback or reassurance with their past experience unfortunately I had a slight reaction at school due to prawns. I was prescribed an EpiPen through the NHS as good practice as a precautionary. I since eat it successfully but still come back as allergic when I do blood tests, although they do not affect me in anyway and are in-fact part of my diet. i have a UK CAA Class 1 but it has an OML and I have recently applied to EASA (Ireland) for a class 1 and am awaiting their decision. thanks in advance |
Welcome to PPRuNe Lizi,
I wouldn't worry too much, I have been allergic to shellfish my whole life. I actively avoid eating shell fish, and have never had a problem with that. I have been declaring that allergy for my class 1 medical for 50 years, and have never had a problem. State the truth for your medical, but don't overstate what you know to put it into the needless worry category! |
Thanks for your reply.
May I ask is this with EASA |
