PSC

I wish to become a flight attendant but I previously suffered from colitis but am now free of it although I do have PSC which means at some stage I will require I liver transplant. I currently take some medication for my condition. Will my condition rule me out of being a flight attendant and passing the medical?

I guess it's so rare, that the AME would be the only one to give the definative answer.

Hopefully his or her decision will be made on the grounds of your functionality, rather than the illness itself:)

You may get more feedback if you do not use initials - an abbreviation used by US doctors may be unintelligible elsewhere in the world - and spell out the question. What medication are you on?

Without this information no doctor can tell you diddly

Sorry

I suppose the OP is referring to Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, often associated with Ulcerative Colitis.

you could try AME&PPL but I don't think he hangs around here now.
