Ileostomy

Hey Fellow Pilots

Is it possible to hold a Medical in Europe or the U.S. with an Ileostomy?
I know of a couple of pilots who have this medical condition in Canada.

Is that the removal of the ileo-secal valve or something else?
I had 2 inches of both my large and small intestine removed, along with a few other bits and have retained my JAA medical.
Hope thats of some use. sorry bout the spelling.
