Hi just wondered if having mild IBS would prevent one from becomming cabin crew.Thanks in advance

I know of many pilots and cabin crew that have IBS and don't have a problem, the fact that they don't take medication, its very mild and its very infrequent are probably the deciding factors there. I also suffer from it from time to time and after speaking with these other people that have a class 1 and don't have any problems am happy that it is not something that is going to fail me.

To further, I have a IBD (Ulcerative Collitus) which i guess is a little more serious than IBS but i would hope to pass a class 1 so long as its in "established remission". Here's to hoping!
