neoral/ciclosporin
 

does anyone know anything about neoral(ciclosporin) ? i have had it suggested that may help my eczema by my dermatologist but my aviation GP seems very wary of taking any tablets to control my skin.

just wondering anyone out there got any comments/exxperience of these drugs?

I'm not surprised he's wary, it's a very powerful drug. Unless your eczema's very bad, there are plenty of topical creams available on prescription.

Ditto. If your eczema is bad enough to need cyclosporin, I doubt you are fit enough to be flying. And if you are on cyclosporin, I would be surprised if you could retain your Class 1.
