Pre Employment Drugtest Hairlength?
 

Hey everyone,

I'm starting a Type Rating in 2 months in a new company, which send me a note that I will have to do a mandatory drugtest upon employment due to the latest EASA changes. They don't specify there if it will be a urine, blood or hair sample.
If its hair I will have a problem since I have very short hair, like 1-2 cm and what I've heard 3 cm is the minimum? At least that's what you can read in the internet.

Does anyone has an idea what kind of test they will use or what is recommended by the EASA? And what is the minimum length for a hair sample?

I had a hair check a few months ago as a pre-employment check for a job with the police.

They just took what they could and made do, there was no mention that it had to be a certain length.

I did see something on the paperwork that they could have used body hair if I'd had a shaved head, I guess it's not uncommon that they have to find a workaround for people who are bald or have alopecia.
