UK CAA or EU EASA

Hi there,
My apologies if this has been post a billion times before. My AME has asked if I want to take a UK CAA or a EU EASA for my Class 1 Medical renewal on Monday. I'm starting an Integrated ATPL at a major brand school starting in April, and I will be doing the bulk of my flight training outside the UK, but likely I will do some portion of the flying inside the UK.
Many thanks

Is your flight training for an EASA or a UK licence? Why not ask the major brand school?

It is EASA by default but can be chosen as a UK licence instead at the end. I would ask the school but they've shut down pretty much all their contact at the moment and my AME has given me almost no time to make the decision. Ive chosen the UK CAA medical for now hopefully its the right choice

Why not both?

The EASA medical is “valid for two years” for UK License purposes, according to the CAA Medical department. But like the other provisos, does this only apply if it was already valid on 31/12/20?

Good luck.
