Class 1 medicals and Covid 19
How does Covid 19 affect a pilots medicals? As I've read so far, some survivors of coronavirus have had long side affects ranging from shortness of breath, memory loss and to some extend organ damage. Are there any new requirements for class medicals for those who have contracted Covid? Are they required to be grounded for a period of time and what are the medical renewals looking into, ie test? As Covid has been declared a pandemic, therefore does this also effect a persons Loss of Licence insurance?
