Egyptian Initial Class One

On the wannabe section ~ interviews / jobs a young chap says he has failed the psychometric testing twice.
Is this process part of the EASA initial Class One?

I did my UK initial in the 1970s. It was a medical with EEG/ECG/audio in London.
No psycho babble stuff was involved.

It was brought in by EASA in 2019.

Thanks for the update

I had noticed a change on Class One revalidations in recent years. Probably prompted by me asking the AME, who I had known for 25+ years, about whether ‘changes’ had occurred after the Germanwings.

The Egyptian thread which has now been removed from Wannabes, after MS990 was mentioned by me, talked about full blown psychometric 500+ Qs/As. It was recognised by various contributors with other links given. Clearly a sensitive subject for any NAA to deal with.....
