Renewal of (expired) class 1 medical
 

I will be getting me class 1 medical renewed on Tuesday, it has been expired since november 2016. I did now however notice that both EKG and audiogram are due in november 2017. EKG will not be a problem since I believe that can be performed where I´m going, but I don´t think they are able to test my hearing though. I will be calling them tomorrow to ask about this, but I wanted ask here first to see if they will be able to issue a new class 1 medical without doing the audiogram? I do understand it only will be valid until november this year in that case, but that would be fine.
(This is in Norway btw.)

Your class one will have an expiry date based either on your age, or a more limiting factor viz audio.

Why not choose to delay the medical, and have it done at a place where all items are covered?

They are expensive items.....
