Getting medical certification in other nation.

Hello,
I was thinking about getting my medical certification in other country, (living in Israel, have a Ukrainian passport). Is it possible, or I must do it in Israel?

And another Q. Can I convert a medical certification of my country(of CAAI) to EASA one? Or it doesn't really matter?

Generally you would apply for a medical with the same authority that would issue the pilot certificate.

Then, if I want to apply to an aviation academy in Germany of South Africa (for example), I first need to apply for a medical certification in the same country?

I cannot answer the question for the Ukraine or Israel but under EASA rules the state which is going to issue your certificate needs to be the same as which has issued your medical. However the medical can be issued by an AeMC/AME in another (EASA) country as long as it is issued for your State of Licence Issue (EASA) country.

For an FAA licence you need an FAA Medical - again they can be issued by an AME outside the US.
