Can gel insoles help circulation?
Hello, I know flight socks can help with circulation when flying but what about gel insoles? I have real problem with my feet nowadays and even being active they can go blue... so I want to do and wear all I can to stop dvt.
Not only do I my feet tend to go blue but also I suffer from terrible arthritis and aches and pains in my feet.. I have actually lost count on the number of times I have suffered from plantar fasciitis so I do need insoles to keep my feet from swelling up and being uncomfortable.. but could the support insoles give your feet hamper with circulation or improve it? thanks. |
Don't know how old you are, but I doubt it is arthritis. I suggest you ask your GP to refer you to a surgical podiatrist in the local hospital. They are not the same as chiropodists and will give you a proper diagnosis, prognosis and advise on treatment.

Booman, I'd maybe go even further than Radgirl. You need a proper evaluation of your lower body circulation, both arterial and venous.
Gel insoles aren't going to be enough. |
