GCAA Medical License
In 2012 I had a myocardial infarction. After 9 months, cardiac rehabilitation and a lot of exams, I managed to regain my JAA/EASA Class I Medical License with the limitations TML (six month limitation) and OML (Multi-crew limitation). This year I applied for a GCAA Medical License and I was told that I didn't pass. However I still don't know if it was for my previous heart condition or any other problem.
Does anyone had this situation before? What was the outcome? Cheers:ok: |
GCAA is the pits
For some reason the GCAA have a very high "standard" or should it be "datum" for any heart related tests and deficiencies.
However it does not stop pilots having heart attacks within days of the strict medical tests, and passing away. SO, do not expect any slack in their standards, SORRY. Glf |
