Try Dr. Peter Orton Was quoted £285 for a KIWI class I.

I think they can do an OZ one...

Airline and Airport Medical Examinations do have authorised examiner(s) for CASA Australia.

antipodean medicals . . . . . . .

The CAA's list of AME's can be found here :
Medical Examiners Database Search | Medical | Safety Regulation

It's usually indicated if they are approved by other countries as well as by the CAA. I know a couple in Cheshire who do Australian certificates, but the chances are you can get one nearer. Couldn't see any in Kent, but you'd need to decide which area then is closest or most convenient.

If, like me you use your flying quals and exp to get into OZ don't expect that to be the end of it.... When you get there they don't recognise your licence and if you are not born, bred an aussie with family in the right places it's gonna be very hard to get any job. (and most pay badly too). I even got turned down for a job cos I hadn't had an Ozzie driving licence for min 2 years! Wot??
After many years I gave up in total frustration. I'm not saying it can't be done but either take a huge dose of luck with you or be prepared for a monumental battle. Or fly pistons on night bank runs paying $100.AUD
Not for me.

I'm quite sure you'd also need to get the ophthalmology exam done to get Australian Class 1. Have a look on the CASA website link Aviation medicals - Search for a DAME, DAO or DAEE to see if there's a DAO nearby as well.

If you do not qualify under another category, bear in mind that getting a visa to move to Australia may not come so easily.
