Possible differences between FAA and JAA Class 1 med?
Hello everyone,
I was thinking about possible differences between the FAA and JAA class 1, because even though flying in the US, I would plan to return home to JAA-land sooner or later. Are there any major ones? Logical thinking would make me guess no, however I do not really know. I have had a search on that topic but it did not return any useful results, so when being a FAA class 1 holder, could it be the case I am unable to obtain a JAA class 1?!? Just playing devil's advocate here :oh: Thanks! INNflt |
should be no problem . . . . . . . .

As I understand it, the eyesight requirements are a bit more specific in JAA land. The JAA state a maximum correction allowed whereas (last time I checked) the FAA are happy as long as your correctable to 20/20, regardless of the prescription. The UK CAA requirements are on their wesbite - www.caa.co.uk.
