Regaining Class 1 after cancer surgery

Well the title explains the problem.
Surgical prognoses good & under going chemo but no hair loss which is a pity because they say it grows back and I could do with that!
Any one got any tips on getting through the CAA hoops to regain your class 1?

I am in a similiar position to yours, although my hair did fall out and thankfully is now well and truly on its way back. I too would be interested to hear from anyone who has regained their Class 1 post chemotherapy and more particularily if they had to wait for any period of time. In case you have not seen it yet, here is a link to the Manual of Civil Aviation medicine on the JAA website, http://www.jaa.nl/licensing/manual_civil_aviation.html. See chapter 17 Oncology.
Best of Luck

Hi Rick, it may be worth a search under "Cancer", I seem to remember some pilots conveying their experiences on this forum, from what I remember some were positive, others not, cheers Ginge:ok:
