Single pilot medical...

I'm thtinking I'm being a bit stupid here, can someone put me straight please! I have a JAA Class 1 medical (although currently fly in the US with a class 1 FAA medical). Since I'm over 40 it's valid for 6 months for 'single pilot air transport operations carrying passengers', but 12 months for other commercial ops. I fly the A320 which is 2 pilots and am applying for jobs in the UK on similar planes. Am I right in thinking that my cert should be valid for 12 months as I don't fly and am not looking to fly single pilot planes?
Just worrying a bit as I have an i/v coming up just after the 6 month period expires and I won't get a chance to renew before then.
Thanks

FAA

Is your question in regards the JAA or FAA medical?

Thanks
