does the person who have heart valve leak disease be a pilot
 pls give the reply to me
what should solve this disease |
If the valve can be repaired by surgery using non artificial parts, you'll get your class 1 back. My old (and he'll hate being called that) had a class 1, lost it due his ticker (heart valve problem), had the surgery and his ticker was not only found, but repaired. ;) He got his class 1 medical back.
If your condition can be repaired, then there's no reason why you shouldn't get a class 1. You'll have to get specialist medical advice on this one. |
Are leaky valves the flavour of the month?
Redsnail,
your old what? Old mate? Old man? :uhoh: Old shag? :\ :ok: Blue Falcon, please see the thread about bicuspid aortic valves - You need not worry about it. I flew for 12 years with a Class 1 medical and I declared my (slightly) leaky valve at every renewal. Australia's CASA were not worried then and are not worried now, although because I am getting old (nearly as old as Reddo) :ugh: they make me see a cardiologist every year. YOU MUST SEE A SPECIALIST AND MAKE SURE YOU TAKE CARE, as there are some tricks and traps if you don't know what to watch for. := Best of luck with your career and PM me for more info if I can help. |
Bendo,
