Anyone know the required and recommended vaccinations for a tourist to Cairo?

Depends on what you plan to do in Cairo and whether you plan to go anywhere other than Cairo.

Google will help you massively, as will your Surgery.

Just watch the mozzy's (take some DEET) and you'll be ok. .

Your doctor or nurse will have a list of the required vaccinations for countries worldwide, give them a phone seeing as you will have to go to them for the vaccinations anyway.

Mine get so used to me as I am always off to the Phillipines. The only thing they tried to get me to take which wasn't necessary where I was going were malarial pills.

If you have to take malarial pills they can be specific to certain areas but once again the nurse will know.

Enjoy your trip, one place I haven't been but I will get there sometime.
