Height Issue

It's probably been talked about here before, so apologies, first time user, long time listener. Got a friend who is 6'7 and cannot fit into a Piper Warrior. He's keen to find out if he's too tall for the industry ( loves flying, but want's the challenge of commercial)

Thanks for the help

Someone around that height used to fly Doves. He was the only one that did NOT bang his head on the ADF loop in the cockpit roof.

I'am 6'7 and do not have any problems. I have an FAA first class medical and I am going for JAR-FCL medical in a few months but I do not think there is any height requirements. I think it is worse if you are to short. I have never flown the warior but I did not have any problems in cessna 152 with instructor. In cessna 172, I even need to put the seat forward.

I believe that in military aviation you can be too tall, as tall people do not withstand high g forces as well as short people do.

In civil aviation I guess the only limitation should be the employers bias.
