Migraine Headaches???
 

I have a friend who has his PPL but quite often suffers migraine headaches just wanted to know if this could restrict him in getting an Airline Pilot Job later in life???

As I understand it migraines are a disqualifying conditions for holding a medical under the CAA rules.

The FAA looks at these things on a case by case basis.

BUT...

Is it definitely migraine, or has he self-diagnosed it as such? Lots of people say they get migraines, who either don't, or have never actually had it diagnosed...it seems to be becoming a synonym for any kind of bad headache.
