Cost of PPL Exams

Guys - done a search on this and couldnt find kerputt....

Say I registered with the flying school and stated that I wanted to do all the exams first before flying - what would I be looking at for a total cost to pass all the exams - assuming a first time pass? I already have all the reading material so it is purely the cost of sitting them and getting them passed officially.

Do different flying schools have different prices?

Moocho grassyass

I take it from your location the schools close to you are:

Ravenair - Liverpool
Barton - Lancashire Aerodrome
MSF - Manchester Airport
Comed - Blackpool

The cost of each exam does depend on the school you are with example:

Barton will charge around £10-15 pound per exam, where as MSF will charge £20-25 pound per exam

Best thing to do is ring the flying school of your choice and arrange to speak with the CFI (Chief Flying Instructor)

The reason I mentioned the above schools are because there are all very good

Good luck :ok:

Cheers Barmy - Your right - that list is good, I chose Ravenair as it looks great and is the nearest. I'll give them a ring and post back for anyone else who was wondering.

Cheers
